Hey Katie!! You are such a HOOT! you are so funny! your video’s give me inspiration. I am a pre-opper, my surgery is in November. I love your video’s and you look AMAZING!!! I posted a video called “QUESTION”, if you could please respond to. CONGRATS AGAIN!! FUNNY GIRL!

Talking about your “game” is cracking me up. I used to do the “is that person bigger or smaller than me” game, and now, it is so hard for me to tell… I feel like I have major perception problems. And I play this game all the time. Now it’s got the addition of “is that how big I was?” too. So funny… By the way Kate, you look gorgeous in this video, and if I were describing you, I would NOT be using any adjective related to being big.. not any more. :0) Take care girly!

Start by saying… you look fabulous! I love your videos… you are so honest and are able to communicate so clearly your thoughts and feelings. Helps tremendously as someone just starting down the journey!

You are hilarious and keep it real, thanks for the video!

do you think that some people should stop (weightloss) where they are comfortable with theirself? i sometimes see alot of people meet goal. then before you know it… they have a new goal. i just wonder do we become obsessed with the ideal size. we lose time in our lives to live. because we are still continually dieting.

    con’t…

I do it so often that very regularly, my husband and I will be walking behind a crowd of people and I’ll zero in on someone and he’ll say “no!” before I even have a chance to ask him if I look/ed like her. I never had a good idea of my size…I’m still shocked at my progression photos. why didn’t someone tell me sooner??
anyway, I’ll be watching for the becky tapes.
thanks a mil for all your vids, I so appreciate your clarity…even the clarity of your confusion is helpful! WTG!

Miss! You look great. not just your cute hair or your cute outfit or even your cute smile or playfully alert eyes…
you just look happy from the inside out and it makes everything else about you sparkle. Good for you!
I really appreciate your vids, especially when they’re long….you often say things that I can so relate to. in this case, it would be the comparison people watching game.
    con’t…

    Part 2!

Just not proud of me. because She was able to do it, and I was not. I know she doesn’t see the surgery as a tool. She thinks I got the surgery, and with out any work at all.. the weight just rolls off me.. and it kinda makes the work ive done not mean as much in her eyes.

You know, with a roll in her eye like ” you look great”. She has since moved out.. and really doesn’t want to know about what Im going threw. Like its not what she went threw so its not the ” real weight loss”

  9. Smashed2k says:

personally, My old roommate who is amazing, also deals with her weight. she actually lost a ton of weight on her own, and has been able to keep it off for a long time, but deals with it EVERY day. she torments herself with food. I think she looks amazing at 220, ( from like 270 ! ) and she has not been as lucky to loose the rest she wants to. When I said I was going to get the surgery, I know she supported me, but didn’t approve. now, Im 30 pounds from her… and I dont think she is jealous…

    Great idea!!!!

  14. Journey2betrhealth says:

Great video as usual. I may have to fine you though for going over the time limit, hehe!
I do the comparison game too. I scan the crowd looking for people who might be my size. It’s hard to wrap your brain around it sometimes. I catch my reflection in a window and think, oh that’s me?
Cute outfit and I would see you now as a “normal person.” I hope you know what I mean. I would have to describe you by your personality or hair or outfit not your weight!
    Donna:)

  15. Journey2betrhealth says:

MJ! I always knew you were an interesting person. I’m happy you are finally realizing it too;)
    Donna:)

I do the exact same thing regarding looking at other people and trying to judge if I’m bigger, smaller, same, etc. I wish it was socially acceptable to ask people what their size is and better yet, if I can try on their clothes!
BTW: size 12 is no longer plus size. I say because the plus stores around my town start at size 14.

  18. vkhele says:

Another great video. I love to play that game too! More now than before though :) When I used to play I didn’t like what I saw and sometimes would cry because I never thought it was as bad as it was. Now, i’ts better so I don’t mind playing as much :)

  19. SarahWillBeSkinny says:

Okay, just to let u know.. I’m in the same room as my mom – she listens to the vids as I watch them. She looked at the screen when you were showing off ur outfit and she said “She’s THIN!” :) Just an fyi! You look AMAZING girl! Loove the outfit! And ps- I’ve played that game ALOT. I’d like to be able to step outta my body sometime just to see the REAL version. Ya know? :) Anyways, keep up the great work! & I heard u were goin to the M&G in vegas. U BETTER BE THERE! =p

  20. ActionWords says:

    I appreciate your honesty.

  21. BMILarry72367 says:

I still have a overblown conception of how I look. The other day I was passing a coworker in the Hall and I immediately stepped aside to let him pass and he said “what , am I too fat to get by in the Hall, we can both fit. ” I was so used to getting out of the way for people so they didn’t have to “squeeze by” the fat guy that I was still programmed to do so. Oh – How we mess with ourselves. Love the videos Thanks – Larry

  22. MySilentSerenity says:

Katie!! You look so good! Hot Hot Hot. My Husband hates the “do i look like that” game. Another “game” when i was younger before i became super obese was “If i ever get that big shoot me” game. The thing i realized watching this video you made was. I had gotten to that point and I’m just coming out of it and i can’t describe how much i’m changing and developing because of it. I totally see how you are coming out of your cocoon keep it up!!

  23. strongisfighting says:

My husband and I totally play that “Do I look like that?” game. He lost 210, so he has no concept about how small he is and I’m in denial about how big I am. Haha. I’t fun until some really huge girl walks by and he’s like, “You look like that.” Ur…. I didn’t want to know that. But, not for long, right?

  24. AfterMarch78 says:

Such a cute outfit! Would love to hear becky’s perspective!!

  25. freshorangina says:

You always do great updates. You look great, I know exactly what you mean about wondering what you really look like. I have just started shopping for some new clothes, and boy was that ever a different experience…
