   You don’t write your thesis statement until you have finished writing your thesis, because the thesis statement sums up what your research has uncovered, and how you feel about it. So, although most people want to start with a thesis statement to start their thesis, it should actually be the last thing you do, after you have written your thesis.
   Have you done your research on gastric bypass surgery? Are you taking a negative or positive stance, or simply doing a report on what it is, what the results have been (both good and bad) and what changes have taken place in the procedure since it was first initiated?

   what are you trying to prove about it? you cant write a thesis statement or a paper if you dont know what you are trying to prove about gastric bypass surgery. do you think its good or bad?
