Majorie> the link you gave does not work. I’ve googled "metoclopramide", but not sure if it has a different name in NZ? Does it also help with weightloss?
It seems Marjorie deleted her answer?

metoclopramide is a medication given here in New Zealand to quiet nausea and vomiting. Never heard that it can help with weight loss. Also called Maxalon. Gastric bypass here is probably anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000 out of pocket.
I had laparoscopic gastric bypass in the US about 7 years ago, when I was 47. I was off work for 12 days and so bored at home I went back to work and probably could have gone back a few days before that! A lot of it is attitude. I was determined to get moving and do everything I was told to do, and DID. A month after surgery, I went to Florida with a high school marching band, and we went to a bunch of parks there and had a ball!
