    it is a great result
please dont think i am being rude but i have watched many gastric bypass vlogs before & after and am really shocked at how much older everyone looks after they lose their weight. This is not a critisism just an observation -is premature ageing a direct result or side effect of this surgery?

Im having this surgery in two days… I hope everything goes well and live the miracle you are living.

  7. krbtv says:

Oh my god. You look so good! The best thing is that this husband loves you regardless of your size. People don’t understand the transformation women go through after having kids. Plus women take care of everyon’s needs before taking care of their own needs. Keep up the good work.

you know wot that has touched me…. good for you…. and as an over weight person i know once i loose the weight via drastic measures…im never going back to the fat one ever again…… you look wonderfull….. congratualtions!!!

You will gain it all back regardless of the surgery UNLESS you embrace a solid workout regime coupled with a balanced diet. My sister had the surgery years ago. It worked. She lost weight but never exercised. Now years later she has stretched her stomach and is huge again!! How sad!

wow – you have provoked so many emotions in me. Sadness, despair, joy, hope!!! I wish you continued luck and thank you so much for sharing your journey in such a creative way to inspire others like me. Now that I have stopped crying I look forward to my op next week and to following your journey and hope and pray that mine is as successful as yours.xxxxx

You clearly have not watched my video with your eyes open. I DID do every stupid diet under, tried every pill and nothing worked. My GP told me that my poly cycstic ovarian disease was so out of control that I would find it nigh on impossible to lose weight with diets and that WLS was my only viable option. My weight gain was NOT through over eating and bad habits as you are surmising, but through a nasty hormone imbalance. You have jumped to many conclusions here. WLS is never the easy option.

You really don’t have a clue what you are talking about ratcel do you. I would suggest you go away and learn a little more about the topic of bariatric surgery before you post negative comments. Don’t you think people who opt for this surgery try every other possible avenue first. What you see as truly sad I see as truly brave.

  14. wwwjunkie says:

actually, there’s more to it than most people think.

you do have discipline, because it’s not like you can eat candy and french fries as much as you want… there’s 90% chance on every food, these people will dump on (they get sick).

if someone has this surgery they HAVE to follow a diet, otherwise you just get sick sick sick. you have to eat alot of vegetables.

so please, read about this surgery, before you judge :)

  15. ratcel says:

I´m sorry, but with all respect it´s very ,very ,honestly and truly sad that you had to get a surgeon´s help to get your actual weight (by the way is really great) but your great story has not even a little of greatness because you didn´t do anything to reach it…no discipline, no fight against your hungry or bad habits… just a simple surgery… I´m sorry but , even you look great now , it´s not something to applause you.

    Hi
Congratulations on the weight loss. I had a gastric bypass RNY on March 14th 2007 and have lost 165lb to date and hope to lose more. I agree that this operation has given me my life back and my only regret is that I didn’t have it sooner and not suffered for all the years that I have. I have put a video on here too showing my journey. Well done love Jane xx
