May I ask are you taking the protein supplements that help with the hair loss? I was told this is very important. I am a hairdresser and I would advise you not to stress your hair with color. Just trim it and and wash it and let it dry naturaly. It is not really good to pull it back all the time because it pulls on the roots and breaks it off. A short blunt cut would make it look thicker.
