Mildly ertyhematous mucosa?

I had an upper GI endoscopy today.
I don’t know what "striped mildly erythematous mucosa" means. Can someone explain what that means.
As has 3 sessile polyps 3-6 mm in gastric fundus and body I remember him saying they weren’t cancer. Can someone pls. tell me more about this too?
Thank you?
