You are hilarious!!!! Thanks for these videos!!!
yOU KNOW WHT GETS ON MY NERVES ABOUT BEING “OBESE” ALWAYS HAVING TO PEE1
hopetobeskinny, are you working out? But seriously, 2 pounds a week is GREAT! If we could do that on our own, we would not have needed to HAVE the surgery. (I will be having it soon…feb, mar…) So be prepared to look superhot, and still have some curves….i know you want to be skinny, but men like curves, which you will probably maintain the way you are going, look even at the bibleA bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my b
You are an inspiration, Lisa! Although I’m not heavy enough to need the bypass, I am working on losing weight with hashimotos syndrome. My biggest struggle has been carbs, until my daughter recently developed food allergies and I went on her plan with her.
Congrats on your surgery! I am new here on u-tube tryin to figure things out. I’m overweight. and I would like to have gastric-by-pass done. But I Am REALLY scarred.
I am here to get feedback from people that has had this procedure done.
* * Does your hair fall out a lot?
* * Do you have lots of extra skin.?
Thanks!
I watched your video when you just had it done and I’ve been in your shoes. Ask me now if I should of had it done.. I say “No”. My doctor told me I only had so many months to live with my weight issues. I went and had the gastric bypass May 7th 2009. I’ve had complications and I lost 72lbs in less than a month. I am happy for you and I can’t wait to see what happen in 1 yr and 2yrs time! Keep up the great work!
If we lose more than 2 pounds per week, we’re in for health problems down the road. You are doing FINE!! It helps to eliminate starchy carbs, breads, pastas, grains (even the whole ones) from the diet. Eat fatty proteins and lots of vegetables and broths. You must envision being HEALTHY!! Thin is a byproduct of good health.
i had the bypass done about 2 months ago and i have only lost 34 pounds and i am starting to feel bad i sometimes feel like it was a wast i don’t eat much and i don’t eat sweets but i am still not losing the weight like i should be can you tell me what i should do to help i eat alot of protein and fruits please help me
ROFL…post bypass gas emissions! You know, as a bypass patient myself, I think they should hook us up to those emission control machines like they do when you get your car inspected! I’m pleasantly surprised when I let one go that has NO odor. No, it dosen’t happen often but when it does…oh boy! I also get a great laugh when I send my husband running for cover!!! I can’t tell you how happy I am that you’re reaching your goal. Keep up the good work!!!!

Be healthy! The sleeve will help you. Don’t let the scale have too much power. Get fresh air, eat good foods, think good thoughts!!
I am an avid reader of your blog–have been for the past year or so. Seeing you on video is a nice bonus. You are absolutely adorable! Keep ‘em coming, please!
WOW!! You look so great and your teeth are so white! I notice random things…You have done such a great job and you truly keep me motivated! I have a sleeve 3 weeks ago and I am freaking out about whether I am losing enough fast enough and I just can’t seem to get it completely right yet. But when I watch you, it puts everything back into perspective for me. Thank you so much! It’s hard to find support out here and you single handedly make it better
Thank you so much! I like the phrase “in your face honest” and LOVE that you said it about me
Thanks MM!!

Heh, blame the cat. I love your honesty.
It’s SO real. WASN’T ME. -MM
It’s not that I’m old. It’s that I’m lit poorly. Ughh!!!
