Roux en Y gastric bypass is considered the gold standard of bariatric surgery. The laparoscopic approach is virtually possible in all patients with the inherent advantages. Surgery lasts on average 1 hour for standard cases and 30 minutes more for difficult cases.

Thanks for posting this! I had a lap Roux en Y two years ago. It’s neat to see what it was they did inside of me. My surgery took 2 and a half hours though and I had 11 incisions! I guess they had a few difficulties!
Very imformative video, except I would have dropped the soundtrack and instead placed a discriptive narration of the procedure at hand.
are all those yellow things fat?
it make me sick.
This is a bloodless procedure in the hands of experienced surgeons.
wheres the blood?
