Laparoscopic fundoplication


A three trocar technique and Nathanson’s liver retractor are used for the procedure. A Visiport is used to insufflate the peritoneal cavity. The short gastric arteries are preserved in this case.

    I had this surgery done 11 months ago, it was done on my 21st birthday. It had great results for me and I had SEVERE GERD and acid reflux

    i wish all the best to you! this is the first time i have heard any mention of this specific surgery. did your doctor tell you about it or did you have to research an alternative to pills before you found this?
