    G’day Prem K,

    Thank you for your question.

Yes. Yoghurt contains so-called good bacteria and helps with pathogenic or bad bacteria. It also helps you break down lactose within the stomach.

I have attached sources for your reference.

I tried one of these yoghurt drinks that’s supposed to top up your healthy bacteria for one week and ended up with a very upset stomach. I believe these are being questioned now in the press for their claimed health benefits.

How are your bowels? People with gastric problems, heartburn, etc usually can sort things with a colon cleanse. If the bowels are full, then everything else starts to get backed up, causing excess wind, heartburn, etc. You can buy colon cleansing pills from your local health store.

Its great for gastric problems ita can even solve ulceric problems, but at least if you have half a cup at nights you won’t suffer form gastritis, heart burn all night. TRY IT.

Yes, natural yoghurt. Not the sugar stuff labled yoghurt.
You can get plain yoghurt and add your own flavour. It is better/more beneficial than the pre -flavoured ones. With the exception of some that are sweetened with fruit juice instead of sugar.
