My friend had stomach surgery on the nhs. Basically if you are obese and you’ve been to see your doctor and discussed your weight then a band or other surgery may come up as an option. You may need to go thru other procedures first, i.e. a helathy eating plan or advise from a dietician/etc – but if all else fails then an op may come up as an option.

They are – but I heard a really bad story about gastric bands once – there are less radical ways to combat weight problems without going through with these.

Gastric Bands are really a last resort for anyone, and roughly 2% of all Snap which can be quite fatal. By all means you can enquire about one with the NHS and they will give you their options.

Remember, The easiest option is not always the best option.

I dunno, but my mate Billy can get ya a good German cover band of Slade, but the drummer suffers from Parkinson’s, so the beats may go funny the odd time. Bargain Price, only £500 per set. They entertain birthday parties, weddings, funerals, shin-digs, ho-downs, hootenanies and bar-mitzvahs. Call Hans on 00454 863-194473
