I’d be in the emergency room or at least urgent care immediately. Better to be safe than sorry……Good luck!
Take her to the ER if the pain is that bad. It probably has nothing to do with the gallbladder surgery. There are several things it could be and a few of them are very serious, so get her checked out.
It sounds like she has some bile problems near her stomach. I had gallbladder surgery a few years back, and the pain that you have described with your daughter is what I was feeling. Even though I had the surgery, I still had gallstones in my bile duct left over. They had to go back and get those also.
Please take her to the doctor that did the surgery. She needs to be checked out to see if she has gallstones in her bile duct, etc. Something is terribly wrong, so hopefully they will be able to detect it. In the meantime, tell your daughter to stay away from fatty foods, as I’m sure that is one thing that will get her pain started again. ( It gets her bile started.) For me, believe it or not, it was chicken noodle soup. It had alot of fat in it, and it would floor me. Really, get her to the doctor’s ASAP, before it becomes something worse. Hope this has helped.
