Smoking should be stopped and alcohol consumption should be reduced.
Meals should be small so that the stomach lining is not unduly stretched.
Consumption of milk, coffee and aerated drinks must be reduced.
Diet rich in fibre and Vitamin A is helpful in reducing the risk of ulceration.
Fruits with their skins must be consumed.
Exercise may also reduce the risk of ulcers.
Go to your RX & ask them, stay away from any acid like food, tomatos are really bad! Potatos can give you gas also, Ham & chicken salad does it for me, lol!
Tums or gasX works like a charm oh beano to
don’t eat acid food buddy…
If you are suffering from gastric acidity then you should
1. avoid chillies, lemon, sour items and fried food completely.
2.Never leave your stomach empty. Eat small quantity of food every 2 hours.
3.Take antacids like gelusil, mucain gel etc as prescribed by the doctor.
1. Reduce if not avoid coffee, Tea, Milk, Soda
2. Take breakfast regularly
3. Don’t take too hot/spicey food
4. Don’t eat too fast or too much
5. Hurry, Curry and worry are the cause for gastric problems.
6. Don’t leave your stomach empty for a long time
7. Eat something after brushing/taking bath
I have gastric, and I have observed
1. Eating breads and other bakery products in the morning increases my gastric problem
2. Taking Digene when my stomach burns helps a lot and gives good relief and I will be hungry too
3. I regularly take Pan 40 (if you are in India) as per my Doctors prescription. Initially I used to take Pan 40 every day in empty stomach. Following the above habits it has reduced to once in a week. And if I deviate from the above then I might have to take 2 per week.
