My mother in law is considered to be 100 pounds over weight. That is what her doctor told her. She has a lot of health problems due to her weight. She has diabetes and high blood pressure. We are really worried about her. Has anyone had gastric bypass surgery, and were you happy with the results. Any tips on convincing her it is right for her would really help.

You could try telling her that it’s still in her hands whether she loses the weight or not. Many people lose loads of weight by getting this surgery, but lots of them eventually put it back on. It’s up to her to maintain the weight loss with healthy diet and exercise.
