Has anyone ever died from liposuction or gastric bypass surgery?

yes and yes….no one I know personally though.
Yes to both! All surgeries have a chance of ending badly.
The death rate from complications related to liposuction is about 1 in 5,000, although the actual death risk when liposuction is performed by a good doctor is somewhat minimal. The death rate within the first 30 days of gastric bypass is normally quoted to be at about 1 in 250. The long term risk of death is considerably less than the long term risk of severe obesity.
Yes, they are relatively safe procedures but not without risk.
YES. It has happened no often but it has and will keep happening.
I wish.
no, not that i have heard of
I dont know about liposuction but gastric bypass surgery, yes. I want to say I read about a year or 2 ago that 1 in every 100 die from that surgery.
yes
Yes .. the surgery does come with some risks.
Hugs Mel
Yes, folks have died from both procedures.
My friends sister-in-law died about 4 years ago from lipo to the thigh area. Her lungs filled with fluid and she died right on the table. She was only 32. All surgeries carry some form of risk.
Yes, it is more common than you might think.
Yes everyone dies sometimes why not during surgery
