Thanks, I’m really happy so far!
Wooohooo! Hooray! Welcome to the loser’s bench – it’s all sunshine and roses!!! I remember those funky tent-like robes. Never again!! Yeah! That is awesome that your surgeon is sharing pix – I did not even think to ask. You sound great – well done you!!!
Thanks Jeannie!
Looking forward to following you on your journey! Thoughts & prayers for a speedy recovery! *hugs*
Thanks and I just subscribed to you!
wow thats cool that he asked you and offered up pictures! what a cool doc! congrats and welcome to the bench, i just subscribed to you!
Yep, gotta keep moving. Waling the dog every day will help that.
Dude – congrats on the surgery! Keep your head up, keep moving (slowly!) and prepare for awesomness!!!!
Good luck on May 28th! I had no problems and I trust you won’t either.
-Doug
Thanks, and I hope you achieve your health goals too!

Hi nice to “meet” you ( wave)
I look forward to watching your success. I am not a WLS myself ( only as I am too chicken lol ), but we are in the same battle for our health.
I am happy to hear your doing well
Congratulations on your surgery! It’s nice to hear from people right after surgery, so I’ll be following you for a while. I am scheduled for May 28th, so I’ll use you as up-to-date information!
Thanks for commenting back to someone about your protein shake recipe – I bought some eas yesterday to try a few kinds of shakes before my 2 week pre-op diet, which starts in 10 days.
Take care.
You’ll have to wait a bit for the inside photos. I left them in my brother’s van and he has to mail them back to me.

OMG how awesome! Congratulations on your surgery. Yeah, I want to see your pictures, that way I can say I’ve seen a side of you no one has ever!..lol I hope you’re feeling better.
Take care

Thanks Elria! Hey, I think you were wondering about protein powder. I use EAS 100% whey protein, chocolate and vanilla. I mix 1/2 banana in the chocolate and frozen blueberries in the vanilla. Both are using skim milk and are very good. Even toss in a pack of Splenda if you like it a bit sweeter. I plan on drinking it again when I am able to.
Thanks Joanie,
I’m feeling pretty good today. A little tired and sore but otherwise good. Take care.
Thanks Larry, I walked for about .8 miles today at a nice slow pace. It felt really good!
Looking good! keep taking those baby steps!
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY!!!
Conrats! You’re on the losin’ side now! Take those meds…rest and heal
