It basically amounts to a total change of life for most Americans, and this is the most amazing part. Most of us eat so few raw foods, or even foods that simply have not been processed, that we long for the super flavor enhanced packaged foods that are widely available and extremely cheap. Salt, sugar, fat. We crave them. ANd our basic relationship to food is pretty horrid- meat first, vegetables later. Vegetables and grains should be central- total opposite change. How can we get there?
