I has a Roux-en-y Gastric Bypass in 1997 and kept off the weight until 2005. I had multiple pregnancys back to back which I believe stretched out my pouch. I have not gained all the weight back, but I am feeling quite depressed and defeated. Anyone have ideas on surgery?

stick away from surgery its so dangerous and theres easy ways to get rid of the belly pooch, check out the links below
Surgery is NOT a good idea. Even a gastric bypass isn’t a good idea. There are other ways of losing the weight. The gastric bypass should help tho. If you eat something bad it makes you go to the bathroom bad. Eat healthier and excercise are good ideas.

I would go see your doctor, maybe they can redo your surgery, fix it.
You could see a surgeon about the possibility of having a revision, to make the pouch smaller. I did have a friend who had that done. The recovery, according to him, was a little harder the second time around (and he is a physician), His pouch had not been made small enough in the first place. But, if your pouch is still a reasonable size, (and it stretches out the first year or so after surgery, naturally, to hold about a cup full) you won’t be eligible for a revision. Besides, there is a 5-20% regain in the first 10 years after surgery,If you can get a revision, the only option is good old diet and exercise. The tool is still there, you just have to use it. Maybe, maybe the lap band can be done if your pouch is way too big.
