I admit it…I drink Coke Zero. Love the stuff. I have NO problems drinking it. I limit myself to no more than 8 oz a day but I do drink it. My surgeon knows and he said it’s okay as long as I can tolerate it. Regular soda has too many calories and way too much sugar (even watered down). Stick to zero calorie diet soda if you have to have a soda fix, like me!
I had Gastric Bypass surgery in late Oct 2007. I’ve list 120 pounds in 10 months. 40 more to go to goal weight!!! I’ve had no complications from the surgery. I haven’t even dumped.
GBS 4.29.08, 62 lbs gone.
I don’t understand why you would sabotoge your weight loss efforts by returning to old habits, even as innocent as it may seem now.
Soda is no longer an option for permanent weight loss. Drink Crystal Light or other sugar/calorie free drinks. Water is best.
