you look really good! i woke up hungry but couldn’t really handle much. Our tastebuds change afterwards, our likes and dislikes but it will come back after about 3 months post op. Hang in there! It will get better! yep, stay away from that stuff..i have never dumped and do not ever want to go thru that. we have to stay strong and focused on our goals and what we want out of life and learning to find new ways to cope. for me, walking is my new coping mech. good luck,jane
Cree, dear..my friend had the bypass and had trouble like you and my sister had lapband, and she went thru same thing where things could gag her. not too far away, but i had to have hiatal hernia repair and they tightened the bottom of esophagus and it was that funnel effect and if you eat too fast u ingest air and get gassy, and you can gag on food if u eat too fast. i find myself eating half or less what i did before surgery in sept..and yes losing weight. but if my sister can do it u can.
i think you’re doing really well, i knew someone who went through what your going through and i saw how hard it is, dont know if i could go through it, it’s totally life changing and you gotta be disciplined. BUT after a while her weight just fell off and she was healthier and had a lot more energy. i asked her if she ever regretted it and she said it was the best thing she ever did, even though at first it was hard for her to get her head around it but she’s good now.
interesting. as a woman you have more friends when you’re bigger than when you start looking slimmer and in some peoples eys, better, guess they see you as a threat or somethig then, that was my experience anyway ;o)

Cree I know what you mean about people treating you different. From being thin to chubby I have had soo many people who treated me good before totally brush me off after gaining. When I have lost they treat you nicer-I hate those kind of shallow ignorant people! Love ya!
