I am 100% addicted to food. I didn’t know when I was a child that food would demand so much from me. It has taken my health and my friends and any chance of romance. But you’re incredibly insightful Cree. You can deal with these issues, you already are. I’m not afraid to be skinny. Being thin is the fun part. The normal part. The part that I am having so much anxiety over is letting go of large quantities of junk food. That scares me! How can I be happy without food? That is the question.
Food has ruined my life and body in more ways than I can imagine. I too have PCOS and my testosterone levels are too high which u could imagine creates problems. It explains why I am so aggressive and angry most of the time. I’m 23 and never been kissed.. never been on a date. I’ve never had a job. I hate going to school because I feel like everyone is judging me. Sometimes I want someone to comment on my weight so I can go crazy on them. I let too many people walk all over me when I was kid.
Hey, Cree. I am getting surgery on Monday! Freakin out a little. I’m actually on the liquid fast already… and omfg its difficult. I was like dreaming of chips and salsa and pepsi. It was like driving me crazy. It’s sad how addicted people like me really are! But I’m going to join O.A. and see a therapist as well as go to the support group meetings every once in a while. Its kind of far from me. But yeah I think it just takes a lot of support from people to get through this. I feel your pain!

well…my relationship with food has had such a profound impact in my life that it has deprived me of many opportunities in life. And now it`s too late. So, I have to believe that it was not ment to be… I wonder what we would have done if we had been given the chance to do it all again…and where that would lead us.

on the OA site i believe there a packets you can buy that are extremely cheap that will help you start a group.. i hope u do.. finding other ppl that struggle with this is half the battle to helping us heal.
