can anyone tell me about the gastric band op in ireland?

I am very interested in the gastric band operation , however i dont know alot about it… i know what the operation itself involves, however i have some questions…
i live in ireland and want to know the cost of the operation to get it done here…
also is it ok to try to get pregnant once all the excess weight is lost?

    Personally would not bother too many risks. Have you heard about the gastric balloon? (BIBA)
