Bikram Yoga is a series of classic yoga poses that you do in a hot room. Here in Berkeley, the room is kept at at least 105 degrees. Sometimes its 110. Its hell. But its pretty beneficial. The experience is different for everyone. I’ve been doing it for like 6? mo. now and I still battle nausea and dizziness while i’m in the room. But it’s helped me in ways I couldn’t have imagined so i still go. Plus you loose weight. (Lost 1/2 a percent of my body fat in the first week or two.)
Hey Girl! I’ve been doing Bikram Yoga for a year this month, and I still get nautious…sometimes can’t do all the poses to complete expression, and I also still at times, cry during class.
Keep it up babe!
Keep it up your doing Great…and yes I’m walking out the door to go to a Bikram Yoga class, here in Budapest Hungary.
lol…hmm, never heard about Bikram yoga…I’ve heard of normal yoga…but not bikram. What is it? lol, sorry. I watched the video and you have a beginnging, middle and end…but what do you actually do. lol, sorry
Yay! Thank you! You know, I still have your gift in my car! I will send it out this Saturday (blush).
Thank you!
I know! I am up to 140 Oz of water a day to help curb it. I am glad to be able to get teh water in and I am not so into the morning coffee. I think this could be a good thing. Rumor has it that you get nauseous for the first couple of months before you get used to it.
Yes – thank you! I was looking for something that my body likes and this seems to be it
Aparently it goes right through your pouch. We are supposed to eat things that we have to chew that will stay in our pouch and keep us full. He said if I didnt break this habit now, I would gain all of my weight back.
Thank you!

Hmmm Bikram Yoga? I’m not sure I could do the hot thing. I have my own hot flashes already;)Yeah, make sure you do all your water and then some with the hot room thing:)That could account for the nausea and headache. Congrats on the wt loss and the right exercise for you! You’re doing great!
Donna:)
