After Gastric Bypass…?

It seems I have a possible food allergy? My face used to get extremely red and hot only after eating foods containing sugar forms. Now it seems, it’s when I eat other foods. Example: I just ate a piece of Rotisserie chicken, small amount of Velveeta mac & cheese and some canned string beans. I know the rules of eating after bypass but I was just wondering if it’s possible I may have a food allergy? I’m three years out of surgery.

the flushing might come from the excess fat consumed. Chicken and velveeta mac and cheese in one meal is an awful lot of fat to try to digest. If you are concerned about food allergy, you can visit an allergist or immunologist and have them perform a simple skin test to determine if you have food allergies. That will be lots better than you simply guessing. If after that surgery you have had it with doctors, you can try an allergy elimination diet but in order for it to work you must follow it EXACTLY and be disciplined enough to follow it perfectly. It takes about 30 to 40 days. I’ll give you a link if you want to read about it.
