I am glad you posted this, I had my 1st consultation with my surgeon today, he says he can do it as soon as I want it, but I feel like I want to put it off to get used to the idea, but I know I will just freak myself out more. I am confident though, my surgeon is Dr. Faveretti, he helped invent the lap band, so he definitely knows what he is doing!

Nice to see people posting the positive videos. I have had a great success with the lap-band and I think all those failed anti-lap band videos are really misleading, making it sound like everyone will fail. It’s not for everyone, but it’s not so one sided. Good for you

What is the occurrence of food blockage tho? I’m larger than you were when you had yours, I’m more like a 4X and trying to go the lap band route.

Thanks for this video. I had mine 2 days ago, Dec 19th. This just reminds me of the positives and what is to come in the next few years. I am a size 22 right now, and it is very hard for me to see myself as a size 6. Good for you!

Thank you so much Gigi!!! I got the lap band with Dr, Gonzalez, one month after watching your video. I am so pleased with the professionalism of his team. I have lost 19 pounds after only one month and I an doing great. There was a little pain that lasted about a day and a half but i took the pain medication and was fine. I will keep you posted!
