18 Months Post-Op Gastric Bypass – Almost to Goal + Ramblings!

I know, you saw ramblings in the title and got excited! Almost to goal, got through the stall, doing things that are fulfilling! OK, so it was kindly pointed out to me by MjTeller that I say the following: “I was 321 at my last update and now I’m 307″ Which should read: “I was 221 at my last update and now I’m 207″ Geez, I can’t get myself out of those 300′s!!! Hi Margo! Hope you’re doing well :) I really haven’t been eating well lately, but usually I buy a rotisserie chicken at the beginning of the week and take the meat off (no skin of course) and eat that for lunches during the week. In the morning I do protein shake and string cheese. Dinner is iffy–usually something simple because I live alone. Tuna or eggs, something like that.

I’m sorry for your loss. I had one recently too, so I know how that goes. What a tragic age to go, though. You look absolutely beautiful though, and you are dealing with it well. I want to learn how to knit too! I bought a book but am currently too lazy to do it lolol.

  23. blueeyedbetty says:

You are looking fab congrats on the weight loss. So sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.

I’m so glad to hear you are getting back into doing the things that fulfilled you. You reminded me alot of me… I used to write and do art and loved dancing and hadn’t done much of any of it in the last few years. Partly because I was so tired alwasy but also the fat ‘box’ analogy fits perfectly.

Great video and thanks for sharing!

I’m so sorry you are under all that stress and I’m sorry for your loss. I’m glad you are finding good ways of dealing with it and getting back out there. Yeah for getting back to your art!
