First of all i am sorry to bother everyone with this. I might seem a bit paranoid but we have tried to have a baby for 3 years. i had gastric bypass lost alot of weight and got pregnant right away. I will be 14 weeks tomorrow. At 5 weeks i had gushing blood and was diagnosed with subchronic hematoma, i spotted for 2 weeks and since then everything has been fine. Lately i have been so worried about birth defects, my aunt had a baby with anecephaly a week before i was born. After this weeks ultrasound my dr. said that she cant say 100% because of the poor quality machine she was using but she is pretty sure that the baby does not have anecephaly. When i got home i was looking at the ultrasound picture, and my babies head looks abnormaly large to me? Does anyone else think so? We really just want this baby, sorry if i seem a bit paranoid.
Also my baby always seems to have a fuzzy looking pillow behind its head in the pictures anyone know what this is?
Thank you so much for taking the time to look!
Also, i have had around 9 ultrasounds, since i had the gushing blood, she always checks the h/b but hasnt done a CRL since 9 weeks. The h/b is always good. This picture was done with the poorest quality ultrasound machine they had because the others where being used. My husband is military so i have my appts. on base and its busy there. I am just so worried abut eveything. this baby means so much to us. I also relized that the picture is zoomed in x 2. it says so at the top of it.
you linked me mine lol.
Is the fuzzy stuff normal? i usualy only see it around the body and head especialy. at 9 weeks i seen it all around the head like in my 13 week one. it makes it difficult to tell what is and isnt the head.
I have more pictures of the baby on facebook. jesickag_drugfree@yahoo.com
Melly, if you happen to see this again link me your picture, you accidently linked me back my own.

the babys head is suppose to be bigger then the body in the womb…thats what i read=] so its normal
well the pic is a little blurry so its hard to really tell but, I think that it looks pretty normal. I am not a doctor and I know that they do the measurements at my ultrasounds so I am sure they will do yours and let you know if there is anything you may need to be concerned about. It sounds like you have been through a lot and have worked very hard to become a mom and I really hope and pray everything works out for you and your family.
Aww, no your baby has a cute head! Congrats!
Your babies head looks pretty great to me.
Here is a picture of mine at 11 weeks http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/unseenoigirl/IMG_0055-2.jpg
The fuzzy stuff behind is your womb.
I have a very similar ultrasound, of a now 2 year old entirely normal boy and yeah, their heads look big that young. It’s normal. Chillax, and take lots of folic acid pills. 70% chance of reducing the risk of birth defects and autism!
